Upcoming Wildlife Series

I just wanted to post a quick note to everyone and let you know that I am creating a wildlife series in 8 X 10's. The Gorilla is the first of the series and all will be in pastels on black paper. I love the mysterious tone of the black paper so many of my future pieces will be on Black. The wildlife series will be for sale in the future at Gateway Art Gallery.

I started teaching art class at Belmont Academy so I haven't had much time to write. The first week was very busy! Next week the students will be learning about Vincent Van Gogh and his painting techniques. Also the children will be creating their own rendering of Starry night. Exciting!!!

Autumnal Bay turned out great and I'm very pleased with it! It's now hanging at the Gateway Art Gallery off of Marion Street across from the court house if you want to go see it. 36 X 42 framed.
