Queen Conch Shell

'Queen' is a commissioned piece. It's totally out of my comfort zone. Why? Because it doesn't have eyes! The piece was commissioned to have lots of pastel colors sitting on the sand with a shadow underneath the shell. I didn't want to use black or grey in this piece since it was suppose to be colorful. I had to add in my signature orbs. I have had no formal training in art so this to me

is a God given talent and the orbs represent that my angels were there to help me along creating this piece.

I used pan pastels, soft pastels, pastel pencils along with gold metallic pastels on the original piece. Prints are now available on my website and Etsy store along with Queen conch necklaces for the beach and ocean lovers.
